  1. Hannah,
We love reading your blog posts. We love the photos you include even more! You have serious talent with a camera and beautiful subjects to shoot!

Love me some Japanese goodies! Haha!
    Love you all!

    • Oops–I forgot to answer my assigned question!

My favorite vacations (not necessarily in order): Italy, Vienna, Mackinac Island (Michigan), Tofino Canada & Charleston (South Carolina).

I would love to travel to Switzerland and Alaska.

      • Thanks for the love Carrie! I am definitely going to add down Mackina Island (I have never heard of it) and Charleston, Canada is definitely a place I want to visit as is Switzerland & Alaska. Sorry you didn’t win…next time maybe!

    • Oh I would LOVE to visit Peru full stop, hopefully one day! Our trip was great, but exhausting, we literally just got home after a 2 hour flight delay 😦 Sorry you didn’t win, I am sure we will do another giveaway down the road…

    • When we lived in Europe we never made it to Norway, maybe Matt did (I cant remember) but I am so sad that it never happened. I hope we get the chance to live in Europe again so I can visit all the places I didn’t get to the first time round! Sorry you didn’t win this giveaway but I hope to do some more in the future πŸ™‚

  2. Favorite Fischer vacations always include Minnesota (so relaxing) and of course Italy. Tim and I also loved Germany.
I would love to travel to Australia/New Zealand and Greece.

    • What parts of Germany did you visit? I am not sure why but I have never really had a great desire to go to Germany, I did of course go to Oktoberfest in Munich and when I was much younger to Luneberg, which was very pretty. I definitely wouldn’t complain if we moved to Germany after here (in fact thats what I am hoping for!!). You know who to ask if you ever do plan a trip to NZ (which I hope you do!)

  3. Oh, you’re such a talented blogger Hannah- i love reading about ur adventures and the girls! Wont miss the competition;) so my favourite holiday spots were so far Portugal in Europe and Thailand in Asia xx

    • Thanks Maria, sorry you didn’t win this time round, but we definitely have plans to do more in the future! I enjoyed Portugal, although I think we visited a different area to you? While we were in Hong Kong this past week we took a day trip to Macau which has a big Portuguese influence, it was really neat to see. I think we will try head to Thailand in a year or so, preferably when Clio is a tad older to enjoy the elephants a little more but I will be sure to email you when we do go! Miss you x

    • Aneta, we got married in Italy, it was gorgeous and possibly one of my favorite places. We spent 10 days there and split our time between Malcesine (totally recommend Malcesine/Lake Garda area) and Venice. I am sad that we never made it to Rome, Tuscany, Cinque Terra…the list goes on! Sorry you didn’t win this giveaway…hopefully next time!

    • After living in England for so long we are absolutely loving living in Okinawa surrounded by beaches! Beach life has totally won us over. Sorry you didn’t win this giveaway, hopefully next time πŸ™‚

  4. Hannah, you’re so creative and fun for doing a giveaway! I’d love to travel to Thailand! I’ve traveled mostly in the US and Europe and would love to go somewhere different.

Enjoy your trip! I can’t wait to see the photos. πŸ™‚

    • Thailand was the first travel adventure I went on, I was only 13 and it was completely AMAZING and where I got bit by the travel bug! If you ever get the chance to go definitely jump on it! Europe, however, has my heart! I haven’t really traveled around the US, but I am making a list for when we eventually live there! Sorry you weren’t the winner of this giveaway 😦

  5. I would really love to travel to Italy! I want to take photos of the people, the culture, and especially the FOOD! I loooove food. πŸ™‚ I love your blog Hannah!

  6. I would really love to travel anywhere in the world!! I’ve never been outside of the US and I would love to see and learn other cultures! I love traveling and have been to several places within the US, just never had the chance to venture outside.

    • Thanks for entering Kerri, sorry you weren’t the winner of this giveaway, maybe the next one! I am excited to travel the US, my in laws are from America and I have visited 3 times, but the U.S is so big and there really is so much to do and see, I get a little overwhelmed thinking about all the places I want to explore there! What places would you suggest I add to my U.S bucket list?

  7. What a cool idea Han! I would really love to travel to Rarotonga again and show Owen where his mum and dad got married πŸ™‚

    • I think India would be such a fun, crazy experience! I keep um-ing and ah-ing about if we should go while we are here in Okinawa (and take the kids) I am still on the fence about it. 9. How fun, Hannah! I love seeing your pictures and reading about all of your travels. What great experiences you are giving your girls πŸ™‚ I would love to travel to Australia…maybe one day!!

    • Australia is neat, but like the U.S, so big! I have only been a couple times but my brother & his family live there so a visit is definitely in order sometime! I hope you get to make it…and if you travel all that way you should check out New Zealand, hehe! Sorry you weren’t the winner of this giveaway, there will be more in the future πŸ™‚

    • What a neat idea, I read a blog (I wish I could remember where it was) about London in books and visiting a bunch of places where books were set within London, it looked really neat. If I remember where I found it I will post the link πŸ™‚ Sorry you didn’t win this giveaway, thanks so much for entering πŸ™‚

    • I have never heard of Yoyogi park but I have just googled it and its now on our list for things to do when we visit Tokyo! I hope you get to Yoyogi Park one day πŸ™‚ Thanks for entering, sorry you weren’t the winner.

    • I bet Iceland would be so interesting! It never made it on my list when we lived in Europe but if we get the chance to live there again it is for sure going on it. I have had a couple of friends visit recently and all say great things about it. Hope it makes it to the top of your list sometime! Sorry you weren’t the winner of this giveaway, there will be more in the future though πŸ™‚

  10. I would really love to travel to japan, actually! I think japan has some of the most fascinating culture, and is so unique.

    • We LOVE living in Okinawa, however until we moved here I had no real desire to travel/live here, now that I am here, I totally agree with you, it truly is a fascinating culture. I hope you get to visit Japan sometime. Thanks for entering, sorry you weren’t the winner of this giveaway 😦

  12. I would really love to travel and experience the caos and sensory overload that is INDIA!!!! I want to smell , enjoy the foods, colours and the amazing mix of landscapes and cultures….so different to the West… I wish to walk the streets of Calcutta (Kolkota) where my mum walked as a girl … to understand a little of the background she tried so hard to reject….

    • I really think you should visit India Mum, you have talked about it for years and I bet it would be such an amazing experience. The colors do look amazing and Indian food is one of my favorite! Thanks for entering, sorry you didn’t win this giveaway 😦

  13. My favorite holiday destination is my grandmas house πŸ™‚ nothing quite like it in the world to be so comfortable and feel so loved. I visit every chance I get because I know it won’t last forever! I’d really LOVE to travel to Australia and New Zealand!! Can’t wait for the opportunity. Glad you sent your blog info along to me- I’m excited to read through your adventures and start planning some of our own!

    • Aww Courtney, that is so nice! I bet your Grandma loves having you/family there too!
I am actually from New Zealand (and have been to Australia a couple of times) so if you do ever plan a trip there and have questions I would be more than happy to help! I can also give you some pointers on foods to try etc
I am positive you will love Okinawa; at times I loved it, other times I wondered what the fuss was about, but 1 year on I can honestly say I love it! We arrived home from Hong Kong tonight and even though we were away just a week I definitely missed it! Hope you find some useful stuff in the blog πŸ™‚ Sorry you didn’t win this giveaway, only a month until you are here and can try all the Japanese goodies for yourself, YEAH!
