I heard about the beautiful iris field from a friend who got some photos taken there when they were blooming last year. As soon as she told me about it I knew that I just had to see them for myself.

The drive up was pretty uneventful and amazingly we managed to find it on the first try, this must be a first for us (especially because I was driving the last part!).

Once we arrived Eden needed to use the bathroom, but of course we were in the middle of a flower field and there were none!

Clio, as usual, refused to put any shoes on but also wanted to walk herself…until she stepped in loads of mud and shed some tears over her dirty feet, then insisted on being carried the rest of the way!

    • 2 days a go we went to the BX to buy her some shoes, she had a huge meltdown because she didn’t want any. So I just bought her some adorable Toms. Yesterday I put them on, she threw another tantrum which lead to her wearing just 1 shoe all day (naturally topped off with a santa hat!)

    • It would be way more stressful if we didn’t just go with it!! It does make me laugh when people are like “oh she is wearing a santa hat” and im like “oh yeah, she is” because its so normal to me i forget its not normal!

  1. I definitely need to go and find this flower field before it starts raining :(!! Your pictures are always magnificent! haha i’m with Kassie i love your Clio stories!
