With a few hour wait before we could check-in to our cabin at Okuma and with the weather not on our side we decided to hit up the Yanbaru Forest Toy Museum as something dry to do with the kids.
The toy museum is basically a big room full of wooden toys; very similar to Casa Machilda and the girls loved it!
Even Matt & I had fun! I challenged Matt to make a train out of the hexagon magnets which he accepted and it did start to look like a train but then he decided it was too tricky and instead we used every magnet to make a pattern on the wall.
We also loved the wooden ball pit, at one point all four of us were laying in it getting a bit of a back massage from the egg shaped balls.
I wouldn’t make a special trip up from central Okinawa to the toy museum but if you are at Okuma/northern Okinawa, and especially if its rainy, and you’re looking for something fun to this is a great little spot.
