Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk | Okinawa

This year I FINALLY participated in the annual Scott Kelby Worldwide Photo Walk!

I have wanted to do this the past 2 years but each year a typhoon has presented itself and since this annual event is held on the same day all over the world it had to be cancelled rather than postponed.

A friend & I met up with the leader and a handful of other photographers and wandered around Kokusai/Naha area.

Here is a tiny glimpse of what our photowalk looked like (through my lens at least!)

    • I think the Clickin Moms photo walk will be held April time too, maybe we can do that one together?!

    • Yes! Next year we should try get us bloggers out for it, I don’t know why I didn’t think of that this year. I THINK there is also a Clickin Moms photo walk in April/May time, if you are around for that one we should do it 🙂

    • you totally should Dina, it is always held in October, I am not sure when registration opens up for it (maybe August) but they limit it to 50 walkers – although I am sure you can still participate just not submit any photos.

  1. What a great idea. I did a photo walk at Problogger Conference on the Gold Coast recently. I might post my photos from that one. 🙂 I just love Japan and what is really good is that the Japanese love taking photos too so it is all cool.

    • You should totally post your photos I would love to see them! You are so right about Japan but I still feel awkward taking photos of people :/

  2. I love the Worldwide Photowalk and have participated a few years, but wasn’t able to this past one. I love your street pics of Oki…gorgeous!
Thanks for linking up with Weekend Travel Inspiration!

  4. I haven’t heard of the Scott Kelby photo walk before, I shall have to check it out for next year! Looks like a lot of fun, my favourite of your photos was the second black-and-white one.

    • Oh yes you definitely should keep an eye on it for next you, it was a lot of fun, I hope to participate in more all over the world!
